We do not babysit, we do not just play catch or throw batting practice… WE TEACH SOFTBALL!
We acknowledge that softball is a hard game. It is difficult to play and learn; mentally and physically.
Our instruction is both age and skill level appropriate. We emphasize all aspects of the game. We truly care about our students!

Welcome Coach Ashley Mendillo
I grew up living in Milford, CT and graduated Foran High School in 2015 and will be graduating from Franklin Pierce University in the spring of 2019. I was a 2-sport athlete and senior captain for both Volleyball and Softball in High School and continued my softball career at the collegiate level. I am versatile on the field, playing 2nd base, short stop, and pitching. Over my high school and college career I held a batting average over .300 constantly working to improve my hitting.
In 2015 I was the recipient of the Umpire’s Association Scholarship in Milford and also chosen as a Scholar Athlete representative for my senior softball season. I am a former player in the CT Seahawks program. I was also a participant in the Junior League World Series in 2012 in Seattle. While being a double major, (Elementary Education and Special Education) my passion is to work with children.
I continue to have a love for the game and want to use my talents to improve the skills of my athletes that I coach. My coaching philosophy is simple; all of my players will work to reach the best of their abilities under my guidance and support. I work to help my players improve themselves on and off of the field. I have been coaching camps, teams, clinics, and more since I was a freshman in high school and look forward to working with Steve Hine in his new facility!
