STEVE HINE

Biography

Steve Hine started out at Mattatuck Jr. College where he became the National Jr. College Player of the Year. He was also an All American at University of New Haven as well as All State and Player of the Year at Foran High School. He is a former minor leaguer with the Texas Rangers and the Boston Red Sox organizations. Steve played 9 seasons and carries a .302 career average with 7 All Star appearance and 2 MVP awards. In 1999 Steve was selected to Team USA and competed at the Intercontinental Cup in Australia where he led the team in hitting with a .333 average.

Inside the new facility, we have a Iron Mike pitching machine that throws real baseballs inside the drop-down net cages. Balls can be fielded on artificial turf. Hine charges by the hour, half hour and offers group and family discount rates. Softball and speed and strength training is also available.
